






According to reports, the SMM weekly comprehensive operating rate for lead-acid battery enterprises in five provinces was 74.64% from December 5 to December 11, 2025, up 0.18 percentage points WoW.
Recently, end-use consumption in the lead-acid battery market has relatively improved. In December, the new national standard for e-bikes was officially implemented in the end-use market, generating certain consumption expectations due to the replacement of old standard vehicles with new ones. Meanwhile, as winter arrives and temperatures drop in north China, demand for automotive battery replacement is improving, and operating rates for such enterprises remain at a high level. Additionally, with recent fluctuations and a pullback in lead prices, risk aversion sentiment has risen among some enterprises, especially export-oriented ones facing persistently weak orders, with most maintaining a produce based on sales approach.
